Geotechnical Block Modelling
Overview
The Geotechnical Block Modelling app brings in the site surveys loaded in the Rock Mass Data Importer and uses the mine site borehole readings to form a mathematical and/or geostatistical prediction of the geotechnical conditions on and around these surveys. Users can either view a previously saved block model or create a new one, where a block configuration is generated around selected surveys and structures and each block is assigned a parameter value based on a chosen interpolation approach. The results can be visualised in a 3D view or exported as a CSV for further use in an alternative application.
