Convex Hull and Development

Build convex hull to quantify the geometry of the stope including drives. This is an important measure for common loss of confinement cases e.g. concave faces and drive undercutting.

Steps

  1. Adjust the best fit rotation (purple) (if required).

  2. Disable boxes if aren't needed or are erroneous.

  3. Main clipping box (green) fits stope.

  4. Top and bottom boxes (blue and orange in the panel) capture development above/below drives.

  5. Adjust controls including, max distance, box scaling, rotation, offset so that only the development closely associated with the stope is contained within these volumes.
