Deleting or renaming

This window has two control panels on the left-hand side: one for Level Deletion, and one for Level Rename.

In the Level Deletion control panel, tick on the level in the table that you want to delete. If it is possible to delete the level then you will be able to click on the Delete Level button, otherwise a message will appear indicating that the level cannot be deleted. Levels can only be deleted if there are no inspection reports referencing the level (i.e. there are no reports with lines or points on that level). If a level can't be deleted but you no longer want to use it in future reports, consider archiving the level instead.

In the Level Rename control panel, tick on the level that you want to rename, and then type a new name into the New Level Name input. Click the Rename Level button to update the level's name in the database.
