2- Build Regions

Building regions consists of progressively subdivide space. This subdivision can be done with two methods:

• Inside/Outside volumes
• HW/FW of a contact

Domain models can be created in two ways.

• Manual build: Define regions using volumes or HW and FW contacts, then group regions into domains.
• Batch generation: Import an existing domain model defined externally, for example as closed surveys, to generate an equivalent mXrap model.

You can further subdivide part of the model from the batch-generation, e.g. with a HW/FW filter, by opening it in the Manual window and continue to edit it from there.
